“The teamwork here at Dice is excellent. We all respect one another and value each other’s skills. It’s also an environment where you are allowed to grow, develop and try new things. I feel so much more rounded as a designer than when I first joined and that’s a great feeling.”
If you’re an experienced medical writer with both a science degree and a degree of flair, we’d love to hear from you.
We are looking for medical writers who can ‘write to the middle’. That is to say, writers who are not only adept at handling the technical side of healthcare writing, but also have some creative flair. Does this sound like you?
Ideally, you’d have a science degree (and preferably an MSc or a PhD), plus at least two years’ agency experience. Naturally, an ability to understand and interpret clinical papers and other medical data is essential. It’s also important that you have ideas, are hard-working, can present projects confidently and can work well in a cross-functional team.
It is a full-time, largely office-based role. (Due to COVID-19, this may be partially or fully remote currently.) You will be the fourth member of the in-house writing team and will report to the Creative Director of Copy. Examples of the wide range of projects that you’ll be given the opportunity to tackle are:
- Sales materials (digital sales aids in particular)
- Objection handlers
- Clinical paper summaries
- Patient literature
- Banner ads
- Video scripts
In addition, you may be required to attend symposia or advisory boards and tasked with writing reports on the outputs of such meetings.
Dice is an independent agency with a warm, generous culture and a collaborative, inclusive approach to work. Entrepreneurialism is encouraged and the opportunity for individuals to learn and grow is exceptional. It is an exciting time to join the copy team at Dice. If successful you will be able to help mould the department and be a key player in the agency’s pursuit of a new gold standard.
Upon reviewing your CV, we may ask you to attend an initial interview. Then, if we feel you’re a good fit for the agency, you’ll be set a writing challenge. You’ll be required to present the work you do for this at your second interview.
This will be based on experience.
